Kari's Heart Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization created to help families of hospitalized children. The foundation was inspired by Kari Schoondyke. Kari was born August 13, 2008, but unfortunately, she passed away on April 7, 2009. Although her life came to an early end as a result of complications from congenital heart disease, her memory and impact continue to live on through the work of her foundation.
